I'm having a hard time

Grasping what's real

Emotions' rush in

I'm numb, I can not feel

I question, even.....

The words we call grace

I swear at a Power

I challenge His taste

Wretched is the night

For I no longer dream

Visions just linger

Silently, I scream

My own immortality

You've brought to light

I'm destined to live

But I've lost my sight

I search in the darkness

Where your scent lingers on

Traces of sound

My mind plays on

Alone one does walk

Each, our heart torn apart

My mind plays your echoes

That live in my heart

I love you baby Jacob
